ALL ABOUT US

OUR STORY

We have a unique business model that doesn't just support the education of young children, but also supports the families and

teachers in our community. We offer teacher education, parent training, professional observation, and early learning classes for children ages birth – five. We are a non-profit organization by design.

Our program exists, because we previously had a fantastic, for-profit preschool program, running here in the Wenatchee Valley

for 10 years. The state of Washington, unfortunately cut funding for mid, to low-level income families and it devastated our program. But here we are, as a non-profit organization, back, better and stronger than ever! Our mission isn't to just stop here. We see an opportunity to duplicate this program, throughout our region and all over the state of Washington. Providing an opportunity for adult education, teacher training, and teaching children the important skills they need. Not only in preparing them for kindergarten, but

for life. We teaching problem solving skills, positive communication, integration and respect with your peers.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to enhance the lives of young children by supporting families in our community through Training Educating and Mentoring Services

TEAMS Learning Center Curriculum believes in

play with a purpose! Meaning that, our activities are chosen to support each child's interests and brain developmentsocially, emotionally,

cognitively, creatively and physically.

We are a non-profit, early-learning center focused on child development and success.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

The first five years are the most important in everyone’s life. The development that occurs during this time provides a foundation for all future growth. With a solid foundation built in these early years, our children will grow to be well-rounded, secure individuals.

Each child is unique with personality and character. At TEAMS we celebrate diversity by creating an environment that facilitates self-confidence, respect, and independence. Children learn through experience in surroundings designed to challenge their minds and enrich their spirit of learning.

Our educational program is fun, involved hands-on learning. It is our ultimate goal to support our children in each stage of life through age appropriate activities focusing on social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development.

We agree with the research, check out what the National Scientific Council on the Developing Child at Harvard University has to say.

A CALL FOR SUPPORT

With your donation, we would be able to get our message out further.       Our goal is to educate everyone about why early learning and

education is important. With your donation, we can model this program to be duplicated around the state. We want to create a network of early-learning professionals that can learn with, and from,             one another. With your support we can make that happen!

Graciously accepting donations
